On Tuesday, 27 Sept. a victim of Hurricane Irene reported to the WPD that she had become a victim of larceny. Officers spoke to the lady at a local hotel, due to her being displaced by the recent weather event.
Based on the Lab results, Investigator Jim Martin applied for and obtained a warrant on June 24, 2010 charging Hubert Edward Napier, age 50, of Twiggs County, Virginia with Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny.
As a result of the investigation, Investigator Rob Voliva applied for and obtained warrants charging Chiquetha Blount, age 28, of Concord Drive in Greenville, NC with two(2) counts of Assault With A Deadly Weapon With Intent To Kill Or Inflict Serious Injury.
As a result of the investigation, Investigator Rob Voliva applied for and obtained a warrant charging David Sides Sr., age 41, of Barnes Drive in Chocowinity, NC with one(1) count of Sex Offender on Child Premises.
On August 25, 2011, Investigator Jim Martin applied for and obtained a warrant charging Shadona Nichole Johnson, age 26, of North Market Street in Washington, with Felony Breaking and/or Entering and Felony Larceny.

On the night of August 12, 2011, Sgt. Charles Rose of the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division was patrolling in the Aurora area. At approximately 9:04 p.m., Sgt. Rose observed an occupied vehicle stationary on the shoulder of the road near Mary's Chapel Church Road and Walker Road.
On August 8th, 2011 at approximately 9:37 p.m., Deputy Thomas Salinas of the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division was patrolling the River Road area of Washington, NC.
On August 8th, 2011 at approximately 12:32 a.m., Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office assisted the North Carolina State Highway Patrol with an arrest at a license check point at the intersection of Highway 33 and Mill Road in Chocowinity, NC.
On July 15, 2011, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office received a report of a Larceny that occurred at a business on Highway 33 East in Chocowinity, NC. On August 2, 2011, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit arrested Chevon Rodman, 33 years of age, of 152 New Hope Rd. in Washington and Nicole Charmaine White, 32 years of age, of 152 New Hope Rd. in Washington.
On July 2, 2011, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office received a report of a breaking and entering of a residence located on Beach Road in Chocowinity, NC. During the break-in, a riding lawn mower, generator, freezer, refrigerator, washing machine, and dryer were stolen.
On July 13, 2011, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office received a report of a four-year-old child being seriously injured as a result of being thrown from a roof and hitting the side of a swimming pool at a residence on Terrapin Track in Washington, N.C.

Two shootings that left four people injured and three armed robberies marked a crime-riddled night in Greenville. Police responded to a fight and shooting at the Fusion Skate Park around 11:30 Saturday night.
Around 3:30 pm Washington Police, Fire, and EMS responded to the Havens Gardens boat ramp in response to a possible drowning.
On July 12, 2011, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit conducted a vehicle stop on Kary Clarence Pettiford, 42 years of age, of 651 East 3rd Street in Aurora to serve an arrest warrant on Pettiford for Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine.
On July 12, 2011, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit served an arrest warrant on Carl Dimetrus Moore, 39 years of age, of 4233 West Road in Aurora. Moore was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine.
No one was hurt, except his uncle, Carter Leary who was arrested by force by the Beaufort Sheriff's Department's "SWAT team."
The driver of the vehicle changed direction, ran a stop sign and sped away traveling South on Highway 17. The Deputy notified Communications that the driver was refusing to stop and pursued the vehicle
On July 10, 2011 at approximately 9:23 a.m., the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report indicating that a larceny had just occurred at a residence on Highway 102 West in Chocowinity, NC. The caller gave a description of the suspects and the vehicle they were operating.
On July 1, 2011, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Chad Douglas Woolard, 42 years of age, of 3723 Harvey Road in Washington and Donald Clayton Madry, 53 years of age, of 3723 Harvey Road in Washington.
On June 26, 2011, at approximately 9:10 p.m., Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded to an assault call in the 3000 block of Highway 33 West in Grimesland, NC.
On July 4, 2011, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Deputy Toby Woolard with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division assisted a North Carolina State Highway Patrol Trooper with a traffic stop on Page Road in Washington.
On June 11, 2011 at approximately 12:20 A.M., the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office received a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle located on Sandpointe Drive in Washington.
