I have long felt that Greg Lake / Pete Sinfield 's "I believe in Father Christmas" is one of the more creative modern Christmas songs created in my lifetime. I have never been a huge fan of Emerson, Lake and Palmer, but I am a big fan of Greg Lake's ode to the British Santa.
This post will be BCN's next to the last contribution to the spirit of the season, at least in regards to Christmas Music videos. Since we began this popular thread of posts with Robert Earl Keen, Jewel, Sarah McLachlin, we shall nearly conclude with them.
For the few years that the Turnage Theater did operate as an ongoing concern, they did book at least one Christmas show each year. In 2009, they booked, and I did attend "Christmas the Cowboy Way, featuring the Riders in the Sky.
I never really knew of Kathy Mattea until this last Saturday night, December 21, 2011, when I saw her perform on PBS's "Song of the Mountains."
